The themes covered include: creation, the fall, the flood, the tower of Babel, Israel’s journey from slavery to the Promised Land, the Judges, the Kings, the Prophets, and the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Exciting stories of Noah and the Ark, David and Goliath, Daniel in the lion’s den, and, of course, the wonderful message of who Jesus is, and why He came into our world are told. Church members portrait characters in costume from a wide range which including, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Miriam, Moses, David, Daniel, Elijah, Mary the Mother of Jesus, John the Baptist and Mary Magdalene. Having seen the exhibition, the children then get to answer questions on a simple worksheet, by looking at the display boards. This helps to reinforce what they have heard. It’s a most amazing journey! Over 250 school children attended this exhibition!
